Roadque was founded in 1996 by Mr. Francois Coetzee in Pretoria and started out as a small distribution outlet for the, then well known, Trailco situated in Vereeniging. We distributed only the main trailer components such as axles, couplers, jockey wheels and springs. In 1999 Trailco was bought over by the internationally known Al-Ko. The distribution rights for all of their products were given to Roadque for Pretoria and the northern region of South Africa.
Roadque then started to wholesale a variety of trailer components, i.e. lights, electrical components, fasteners and other trailer components. We moved from Centurion to Kilnerpark in 2001, to bigger and more convenient premises. We settled with the retail market to the public.
In 2005 Roadque started to manufacture and import a variety of trailer and automotive.
In 2006 we started to serve the bigger automotive market like Iveco, Nissan Freight, etc.
Roadque now owns a factory, warehouse and sales office based in Silverton, Pretoria. Our manufacturing plant located in Pretoria specialises in the manufacturing of all small components, i.e. hinges, anti-luce devices, spring bolts, drop-side and long-leaf hinges, chevrons, mudguards, light brackets, license disc holders, light, etc. Today Roadque utilises CAD and CNC machines to design and manufacture excellent products. Further our company supplies axles (custom made to customer requirements) and all related trailer components designed for the customer.
We are also a distributor of Avery Denison.
